Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrive in the Village of St. Martins. Make a quick stop at the Shipyard Cafe before hitting the trailhead at Big Salmon River. Your guides will prepare a trailside lunch on your way to your camp at Seely Beach. Our recommendation, take in some stars this night because you’re in the UNESCO Fundy Biosphere Reserve that is part of the longest stretch of undeveloped wilderness coastline in North America, there’s practically no light pollution!

DAY 2

This morning, your guides will prepare breakfast and coffee or tea before heading back on the trail. Discover the land’s natural and cultural history through your guide’s interpretation and stories. Camp at Little Salmon River, where your support team has once again set up camp and brought in fresh food.

DAY 3

Wake up again amongst the trees and either continue on the trail OR explore Walton Glen Gorge and hike through the Eye of the Needle. Return to the Village of St. Martins after being picked up by your support team.

Itinerary

Our guides, were extremely friendly, supportive, knowledgeable about the area and its history, prepared fantastic backcountry meals, and really became part of our little ‘group’.

Fundy Footpath

THE FUNDY LOOK OUT

The rugged geology and natural beauty of the Bay of Fundy wilderness was the inspiration for the creation of the 41-km (25-mi.) Fundy Footpath, whose unique ecosystem can only be appreciated on foot, in the ambience of the Bay of Fundy microclimate.
